SHERWOOD BOWMEN SPORTS UPDATE!

WEEK OF OCTOBER 17th CORRECTION

BOYS SOCCER: The Bowmen started league play last week with two thriller games vs. Wilsonville and Liberty. The boys played to a 4-4 deadlock after two overtimes against the Wildcats. This came after both teams came from behind in dramatic fashion at different periods of the game. Later in the week the Bowmen came from behind in the second half to beat a very good Liberty team 2-1. The boys are 1-0-1 in league and 5-2-2 for the season. League games continue this week when we travel to Putnam on Tuesday and host St. Helens on Thursday. Games begin at 7:00. The JV games precede the Varsity. The JV2 team is at home Monday and away on Wednesday.
